Ravi V. Bellamkonda is the Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs at Emory University, where he oversees the quality of the institution’s educational programs and advances its research initiatives. Since joining in July 2021, Bellamkonda has focused on enhancing Emory’s academic operations, faculty culture, and university-wide initiatives in student flourishing, arts and humanistic inquiry, and AI for humanity. Previously, he was the Vinik Dean at Duke’s Pratt School of Engineering and held a professorship at Georgia Tech and Emory. Bellamkonda holds a PhD from Brown University and has earned numerous accolades, including the NIH Director’s Transformative Research Award. He actively engages with the Emory community and welcomes interactions through his office.
